TRAIN THE TRAINER
During the « Train the Trainer » activity, participants will learn how to increase their efficiency as trainers and learn what kind of trainer they are and who are their students. At the end of the activity, the participants’ new skills will be put in practice during a short presentation of their abilities as trainers.
At the end of this training activity, the participants will be able to:
* Describe the key elements to an efficient training session.
* Describe the different stages of the learning process.
* Discover the characteristics of his own learning process.
* Identify the 5 TRIMA pedagogical styles and learn to use the different teaching appoches depending on the participant’s profiles.
* Identify his own receptive preferences and use the available teaching tools depending on his students’ preferences.
* Discuss the best way to teach adult participants.
* Describe the different roles of the trainer.
* Write learning objectives.
* Distinguish the different sections of a training activity.
* Prepare his training activity to do list.
* Discuss how to efficiently ask questions and when is a good time to answer the participants’ questions.
* Know the strategy to adopt when difficult situations occur in the classroom.
* Use specific techniques for stress management.
* Make a list of what to do and not do regarding visual contact, gestures and voice management.
* Teach using the efficient training methods.
